‘ILE OGBON’ — a Yoruba phrase from southwestern Nigeria meaning House of Wisdom — draws its inspiration from the cultural nuances of systems and structures seen across various parastatals in the 1980s, such as religious institutions, government bodies, and healthcare centres.

In those times, in the spirit of inclusivity and continuous improvement, these organisations would place suggestion boxes in strategic locations, inviting tips and opinions on the services or products they provided. Yet, these boxes were rarely opened or considered. Ironically, they often contained the very insights that could spark the transformation and excellence everyone desired — but few were willing to act upon.
